Pupil size can tell about possible impending death. This is the conclusion of the Dutch experts

According to their study, among patients with heart disease, those with small pupils were more likely to die.

Today we will reveal to you what other signs can be used to understand that a person is on the threshold between life and death.

The first signs of death appear only in the presence of chronic diseases. This opinion was expressed by the immunologist Vladimir Bolibok.

According to him, sudden death syndrome most often occurs in newborns who die without objective reasons, obvious signs and pathologies. This phenomenon is also called "death in the cradle". As a rule, pathologists cannot determine the cause of sudden death.

"Actually, there is such a phenomenon as sudden death syndrome. It can come from the child's respiratory arrest. This phenomenon occurs in infancy, as a rule, in children under one year old," noted the specialist.

In adults, sudden death can occur due to many factors: cardiovascular diseases, thromboembolism, anaphylactic shock.

In turn, the cardiologist Anatoly Trifonov noticed that in the case of vascular diseases, you can always see signs that indicate the approach of the end.

"These symptoms are literally written on the face. If we are talking about a chronic disease of the cardiovascular group, its main symptoms are detected 10-15 days before death," said the doctor.

Thus, according to the specialist, the patient may feel malaise, shortness of breath, lethargy, a sudden feeling of fear, reddening of the face, pale skin. In addition, pupil dilation and frequent loss of consciousness are observed, the doctor explained.

With heart failure, which can lead to death, dramatic changes are also observed, Trifonov pointed out.

The main symptoms preceding death are a change in skin color to blue, cold extremities, convulsions. He may also be foaming at the mouth, the source said.

After such signs, death may occur in the next 1.5-2 hours. In addition to them, the patient may feel swelling of the limbs and fever. The expert recommends that if the described clinical picture appears, you should immediately consult a doctor to prevent death.
