The Executive Agency for Transplantation (IAT) and the National Association of Children with Diabetes are organizing tomorrow the first public discussion with schoolchildren and students "A piece of you can be the whole world for someone" in Plovdiv, from 2.30 p.m. at the International Fair, Bulgaria Hall. The forum is the first of a series of discussions with the young people of Bulgaria that IAT plans to hold in the country.
A major part of the Agency's information policy is changing attitudes, raising awareness and overcoming stereotypes regarding donation and transplantation.
The discussion will be attended by Dr. Mariyana Simeonova - director of IAT; representative of the Regional Administration in Plovdiv; Eli Kotova - chairman of the National Association of Children with Diabetes; Dr. Kostadin Chifligarov, MD - anesthesiologist-resuscitator and donation coordinator at St. Georgi" - Plovdiv; Prof. Yordanka Alexieva - Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Food Technologies - Plovdiv; students from the National Commercial High School; students from the University of Food Technology; students from the city of Saedinenie.
