My filling fell out in a month - do I have to pay for the new one?

About a month ago, I had a tooth filling redone, which unfortunately fell out a day ago and even the hole in the tooth became bigger. I use the word "redone" because there was already a filling there that was put on me quite some time ago and now it has broken. Is there a certain time as a guarantee for this type of he alth care? If I go to the same dentist now, do I have to pay again for the filling of this tooth?

According to the current regulations, the performed and reported activities are for a period of 12 consecutive months from the date of performance. Activities performed and reported again within this period are not paid by the NHIF. In this sense, there will be no payment from the NHIF. Whether your dentist will ask you to pay again for a filling is a moral and ethical issue that you should clarify with your dentist. Since the question raised affects the quality of the dental care provided, if you wish, you can submit a complaint to the Executive Agency "Medical Audit" and to the relevant regional he alth insurance fund.
