The prostate is a gland that increases in size with age. It is located under the bladder and its growth presses the urethra. This causes a number of difficulties - frequent urges to urinate, including several times at night, a feeling that the bladder is not completely emptied, a weak and intermittent stream. Disturbances of a similar nature may be caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is believed that every second man in advanced and retirement age has an enlarged gland. The growth cannot be stopped with medication or herbs, that is, a man with difficulty urinating cannot expect that the situation will improve permanently. Usually, some methods give a temporary good result, but the prostate grows and over the years the patient's condition worsens. What's more, an enlarged prostate gland causes stones to form in the bladder, disrupts its natural function, and can even damage the kidneys.

Dr. Fernando Sancha - leading world specialist and expert of the International Group of Green Laser Practitioners (IGLU), operating monthly at the capital's "Hill Clinic" shares:
“Modern medicine has an extremely effective, fast and gentle method that solves men's prostate problems. The green laser is recognized as the "gold standard" in urology. I have thousands of satisfied patients in Bulgaria who have had their adenoma removed with this proven method. Through the natural opening of the body, a micro-thin laser fiber reaches the adenoma. The green laser energy literally "vaporizes" the prostate tissue, as the light is absorbed by the hemoglobin, the temperature of which increases and begins to heat the adjacent tissues. The water in them heats up, bubbles form, which create pressure in the connective tissue and burst. This process is repeated in the different lobes of the prostate until its complete evaporation is achieved.”
Dr. Alexander Botsevski - urologist at "Hill Clinic" tells:
“To my delight, the Green Laser is an operative technology that is gaining more and more popularity and establishing itself as the preferred method. Our patients at "Hill Clinic" undergo this gentle manipulation, especially suitable for men of an older age, with cardiovascular problems or diabetes, as it does not require full anesthesia. With the Green Laser, there are no incisions, no bleeding, and postoperative recovery is within 24 hours. Men fully retain their sexual function. The risk of incontinence is reduced to a minimum. We have performed more than 5,000 such operations, which gives us the confidence of one of the leading laser urology clinics in Europe. Bulgarian men go to the doctor quite late and their condition is more complicated than that of Western Europeans, who do not miss their annual preventive examinations. In the case of particularly large glands, we also apply the enucleation method, which enables the separated prostate tissue to be histologically examined. This is important in patients for whom there is even a minimal risk of having a prostate tumor. Due to the advanced condition of most of our patients, who in an emergency situation postpone their treatment for months, the enucleation that we apply together with Prof. Sancha is required significantly more often, since the prostates we remove are over 100-120 grams.”
Sleep is extremely important for our survival. Not only does lack of sleep make us irritable and distracted, but prolonged lack of sleep can lead to death However, scientists are now paying attention not only to the amount of sleep, but also to the time when we get it.

Researchers led by the Institute for Global He alth in Barcelona conducted a survey of 4,000 people in 11 regions. They found that people exposed to outdoor and indoor blue light increased their risk of developing one of the most fatal diseases Researchers measured outdoor lights in Barcelona and Madrid using images from the International Space Station, which showed lights in three colors - blue, red and green.
