The farmer's daughter was helping her parents by harvesting the ripe beets in the harvester and nothing foreshadowed trouble until one unfortunate day a stone got stuck between the wheels

Binzaz Sercelik got down from the cabin to solve the problem. As the girl tried to pick up the stone with a stick, her hair got caught in the mechanism. As a result, the machine tore out a huge chunk of the victim's scalp, reports The Sun.

The incident happened in Usak province in western Turkey. Binzaz, 22, says she went to visit her parents to help them with the housework.

"At that moment, when I took out the stone, the wind blew and knocked the bandage off my head. As a result, the hair began to wind on the lead screw, and I held on with all my strength so that my body also doesn't get there," says Binzaz.

The girl did not see anything from the blood that gushed from her head. But despite the terrible injuries, she still managed to turn off the combine and go home. The father immediately took his daughter to the hospital. The doctors were afraid that they would not be able to save the victim, but fortunately the brothers found the severed part of the scalp and put it in the chamber. Thanks to this, the skin was able to be stitched, although more than 50 hours have passed since the accident.

The operation lasted seven hours, and now the girl is on her way to a full recovery. Her hair is growing slowly, and Binzaz herself is smiling from her hospital bed.
